Every operation below can be ordered for the same DENSO DIESEL file (diesel). Prices are per file in EUR; automatic solutions are delivered within minutes, engineer-assisted ones are prepared by our tuning team.

STAGE1 A safe performance tune that needs no mechanical changes and does not harm the vehicle. automatic, 15 ready solutions for this file size · ~15 min 10 EUR
STAGE2 A performance tune that requires hardware changes such as exhaust, filter or DPF removal. engineer-assisted, on request · ~60 min 40 EUR
ADBLUE OFF Disables the AdBlue (SCR) system in software; no AdBlue refills are needed afterwards. automatic, 5 ready solutions in library · ~10 min 5 EUR
DPF OFF Deletes the diesel particulate filter (DPF) system in software; if the vehicle has AdBlue, it must be deleted first. automatic, 16 ready solutions for this file size · ~5 min 5 EUR
EGR OFF Disables the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system. automatic, 13 ready solutions for this file size · ~5 min 5 EUR
LAMBDA OFF Disables the oxygen (lambda) sensors. automatic, 7 ready solutions for this file size · ~5 min 5 EUR
DECAT Disables catalytic converter efficiency monitoring and the P0420/P0430 fault codes. engineer-assisted, on request · ~5 min 5 EUR
FAN DEGREE automatic, 1 ready solution in library · ~20 min 30 EUR
REVLIMIT Adjusts the engine rev limiter (hard cut) point. engineer-assisted, on request · ~20 min 10 EUR
DTC OFF Permanently disables the fault codes (DTC) you select; you need to provide the P codes to turn off. engineer-assisted, on request · ~10 min 10 EUR

About this project

Denso ECUs are used by Toyota, Mazda, Subaru, Suzuki, Opel and other Japanese-engine vehicles. This unit is fitted to MAZDA Car vehicles. Project #16749 was completed automatically by the ECUHARD file service for a MAZDA Car vehicle running software RF8G-18881-D RF8G-188K1-A.

Frequently asked questions

What was done to this DENSO DIESEL file?

Operations performed: REV ORI. The modified file was checksum-corrected and delivered ready to flash.

What is the software version for this DENSO DIESEL file?

This project is for DENSO DIESEL with software numbers: RF8G-18881-D RF8G-188K1-A. The same operations apply to other vehicles running the same software.

Can I get the same tuning for my MAZDA?

Yes. Sign in, upload your original ECU file (DENSO DIESEL or any supported ECU), choose the operations you need and our automated system prepares the file, usually within minutes, 24/7.

I read my ECU with a different tool — will the tuning fit my file?

Yes. Every operation is applied to the file you upload — your own read from your own car — so the tool and the read mode do not matter: the modifications are located by content, not by a fixed file layout. If your file was modified before, our REV ORI (revert to original) module repairs every changed area back to the stock values first — no matter which tool or method read it (KTAG, KESS, Flex, Autotuner, CMD, OBD, bench or boot) (10 EUR). A compatibility problem is therefore impossible.

I have an OBD read — can you tune it, or do I need a bench/boot read?

An OBD read is fine as long as it contains the software area (maps). Upload it; the platform detects the ECU and software number and shows which operations are available for your file. If the read is partial and an operation is not possible on it, you will see that before paying.

I read boot mode with KTAG / bench with Flex / bench or OBD with Autotuner — which read do I upload?

Any of them. Upload the file exactly as your tool saved it (DENSO DIESEL reads are supported in OBD, bench and boot form). The system works on your own read, so nothing has to be converted or matched to a different device.

Do you need the full backup (EEPROM, other sectors)?

No. Only the software-related part of the ECU is used: the maps area — the internal flash and/or the external flash, depending on where the software lives in that ECU. EEPROM and other memory sectors are not needed and are never modified. Keep your full backup for yourself as a safety copy.

How can I be sure the result will be compatible with my ECU?

Because the file returned to you is your own read with only the selected areas changed and the checksum corrected, it flashes back with the same tool and method you used to read it. The software number stays the same; nothing else in the file is touched.

What other operations are available for DENSO DIESEL?

STAGE1 (10 EUR, automatic, 15 ready solutions for this file size); STAGE2 (40 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); ADBLUE OFF (5 EUR, automatic, 5 ready solutions in library); DPF OFF (5 EUR, automatic, 16 ready solutions for this file size); EGR OFF (5 EUR, automatic, 13 ready solutions for this file size); LAMBDA OFF (5 EUR, automatic, 7 ready solutions for this file size); DECAT (5 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); FAN DEGREE (30 EUR, automatic, 1 ready solution in library); REVLIMIT (10 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); DTC OFF (10 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request). Prices are per file.

I have a DENSO DIESEL file — how can I get it done?

Sign in to the ECUHARD platform (solutions.ecuhard.com), upload your ECU file, select the operations you need and confirm. Automatic solutions are delivered within minutes, 24/7; engineer-assisted operations are prepared by our tuning team. Each file is checksum-corrected and an invoice is issued automatically.

Do I need to send my original file?

Yes — upload the stock read of your ECU. If you do not have it, our original file archive may have a matching file by software number.
