Disables the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system.

About this project
Delphi DCM is a diesel common-rail ECU family used by Ford, PSA, Renault, VAG, Kia and others. This unit is fitted to SSANGYONG Car vehicles. Project #8449 was completed automatically by the ECUHARD file service for a SSANGYONG Car vehicle running software NC010009. Disabled fault codes: P0405, P0406, P0611, P0401, P0571, P1571.
Frequently asked questions
What was done to this DCM3.2 file?
Operations performed: EGR OFF, DTC OFF. The modified file was checksum-corrected and delivered ready to flash.
Which fault codes (DTC) were disabled?
P0405 (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor "A" Circuit Low); P0406 (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor "A" Circuit High); P0611 (Fuel Injector Control Module Performance); P0401 (Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected); P0571 (Brake Switch "A" Circuit); P1571 (Brake Switch Malfunction). Each code is switched off in the ECU fault table, so it is no longer stored or shown by diagnostic tools.
What is the software version for this DCM3.2 file?
This project is for DCM3.2 with software numbers: NC010009. The same operations apply to other vehicles running the same software.
Can I get the same tuning for my SSANGYONG?
Yes. Sign in, upload your original ECU file (DCM3.2 or any supported ECU), choose the operations you need and our automated system prepares the file, usually within minutes, 24/7.
I read my ECU with a different tool — will the tuning fit my file?
Yes. Every operation is applied to the file you upload — your own read from your own car — so the tool and the read mode do not matter: the modifications are located by content, not by a fixed file layout. If your file was modified before, our REV ORI (revert to original) module repairs every changed area back to the stock values first — no matter which tool or method read it (KTAG, KESS, Flex, Autotuner, CMD, OBD, bench or boot) (10 EUR). A compatibility problem is therefore impossible.
I have an OBD read — can you tune it, or do I need a bench/boot read?
An OBD read is fine as long as it contains the software area (maps). Upload it; the platform detects the ECU and software number and shows which operations are available for your file. If the read is partial and an operation is not possible on it, you will see that before paying.
I read boot mode with KTAG / bench with Flex / bench or OBD with Autotuner — which read do I upload?
Any of them. Upload the file exactly as your tool saved it (DCM3.2 reads are supported in OBD, bench and boot form). The system works on your own read, so nothing has to be converted or matched to a different device.
Do you need the full backup (EEPROM, other sectors)?
No. Only the software-related part of the ECU is used: the maps area — the internal flash and/or the external flash, depending on where the software lives in that ECU. EEPROM and other memory sectors are not needed and are never modified. Keep your full backup for yourself as a safety copy.
How can I be sure the result will be compatible with my ECU?
Because the file returned to you is your own read with only the selected areas changed and the checksum corrected, it flashes back with the same tool and method you used to read it. The software number stays the same; nothing else in the file is touched.
What other operations are available for DCM3.2?
STAGE1 (10 EUR, automatic, 3 ready solutions for this file size); STAGE2 (40 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); STAGE3 (200 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); ADBLUE OFF (5 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); DPF OFF (5 EUR, automatic, 1 ready solution for this file size); LAMBDA OFF (5 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); DECAT (5 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); NOX OFF (5 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); VMAX OFF (5 EUR, automatic, 1 ready solution for this file size); TVA OFF (5 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); FLAPS OFF (5 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); MAF OFF (30 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); STARTSTOP OFF (40 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); IMMO OFF (50 EUR, automatic, 1 ready solution in library); TERMOSTAT (20 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); WATERPUMP OFF (5 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); HOT START (20 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); REVLIMIT (10 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); LAUNCH CONTROL (20 EUR, engineer-assisted, on request); REV ORI (10 EUR, automatic, stock file in archive). Prices are per file.
I have a DCM3.2 file — how can I get it done?
Sign in to the ECUHARD platform (solutions.ecuhard.com), upload your ECU file, select the operations you need and confirm. Automatic solutions are delivered within minutes, 24/7; engineer-assisted operations are prepared by our tuning team. Each file is checksum-corrected and an invoice is issued automatically.
Do I need to send my original file?
Yes — upload the stock read of your ECU. If you do not have it, our original file archive may have a matching file by software number.
